Today I had to do 30 min xt (cross training).
I found a program in the Ladies Home Journal here is what they had me do:
Step 1
Cardio
Job, climb stairs, skip rope or do jumping jacks for 5 min to get your heart pumping. I choose running, Sophi and I did 4 laps around the house (and then she fell on the bridge and we had to go inside to get a bandaid) I was aiming for 5 laps but I figured I could make it up in the end.
Step 2
Strenth Circuit
(of course i didn't see this part until Iam typing it, but it says repeat this series 3 times)
20 reps of Shoulder Press
20 reps of Alternating Lunge
20 reps of double Crunch
Step 3
Strenth Circuit
(didnt read this either but says, do 5 min of cardo and then repeat this series 3 times)
20 reps of SideBend
20 reps of Dumbbell Row
20 reps of Dunbbell Dead Lift
Step 4
Cardio
(This part I did do)
Finish with 5 min of cardio. I did 5 laps around the house, and Sophi tried to keep up. My total miles for cardio was 1 mile.
So the next time I do cross training (Saturday), it will be alot different.

Time to Start Training
So I have 5 weeks left till the Disneyland Half Marathon. Once again Iam not ready. So I figured if i start blogging about it, it will hold me more accountable.
Today i did my 3.5 required miles. The girls went with me so my time was not very good. Pushing an extra 100 plus pounds in a jogger is not the easiest thing. But boy is it sure a work out.

Its that time again!
Time to get back to reality. I really need to lose some weight before July. I have decided to do a 9 day cleansing and fat burning system with Isagenix. I wanted to track my progress so I know how i really did.
Today was day 1
8:30am had my shake in the am - not gonna lie it was gross. It didnt taste bad, it was just really thick and for me hard to drink.
11am I started to get hungry so i had some tangerines
12:30pm had a bowl of rice and brocoli
3:30pm had a bananna
did 15min of cardio workout
4:30pm had a isagenix snack

FINAL WEIGH IN!!!
Here are the results for the FINAL WEIGH IN! (sorry it's late, the new year has already kept me busy)
1st PLACE - Cobi: lost a total of 24 pds, 12.5% (great job, your win is well deserved)
2nd PLACE - Granny: lost 11.4 pds, 7.52% (awesome job, I know you really worked hard)
3rd PLACE - Mimi: lost 2 pds, 1.65% (great job)
4th PLACE - Papa: gained 2 pds, -0.96% (good try)
LAST PLACE - Tasha: gained 1.5 pds, -1.09% (i tried but getting sick the month of december didnt help)
So congrats to you all. For this year I have decided to run 4 half marathons and a full marathon. So I hope you all find something that will motivate you to keep you going!
